1871 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded Proof 65 Red Cameo. A completely reflective gem with brick red surfaces. Only a few random carbon flecks are found. A shallow lint mark is noted underneath the IT of UNITED. Smooth arcing luster covers the entire obverse and is offset by a frosted device of Liberty. A very scarce gem proof that has somehow managed to keep its immaculate red and cameo attributes. PCGS population of 2 in PR-65RD Cameo with a single PR-66RD Cameo finer.
