1928 $20 St. Gaudens. NGC graded MS-64 Star. A lustrous and well struck Liberty stands amidst soft lavender toning, giving this example a surreal appearance. A few horizontal tick marks in the middle of Liberty's gown are the only technical qualities keeping this coin from gem status. Given the "star" designation by NGC for superior eye appeal and we could not agree more! Only 3 graded MS-64 "Star" by NGC.
