1858-S $20 Liberty. PCGS graded AU-55. A deep orange and lustrous piece. Violet toning on the numerals of the date. Well struck with significantly less abrasions than normally observed. A scarce issue that has not had its total population increased by shipwreck discoveries. PCGS has graded 30 in AU-55 with 33 finer. Only a handful of truly mint state examples survive and they are substantially more expensive than a nice AU, such as this coin (PCGS # 8925) .
