1798 Draped Bust Dollar. Heraldic eagle reverse, wide date, 13 arrows. . BB-112. Sharpness of VF-25. Cleaned long ago and nicely retoned. Old hairlines are seen on both obverse and reverse over antique gray surfaces. With regards to the artificial toning, it is actually pleasing and adds to the soft gray appearance of this early dollar. Aside from hairlines, there are no heavy scratches or disturbing abrasions. One small rim bruise is noted above the I of AMERICA.
