Kennedy - Johnson Pinback Button. Six inch celluloid button for the inauguration of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson in 1961. In red, white, blue, black and gold. The button features bust-length portraits of the President-elect and Vice President-elect in oval frames. At the top is "44th Inauguration," with a gold seal below; "1961" is at the bottom and "The New Frontier" at the lower edge. One small paper remnant on verso, else very fine.
