Check Signed ("S. L. de la Barra") on The Riggs National Bank, Washington, D.C., April 19, 1911, just over a month before becoming interim President. Perforated cancellation lightly affects the signature, else fine. Archivally matted with an image of de la Barra to an overall size of 17 x 12½ inches.
