Liberty Seated Dollar. 1872. PCGS graded Proof 64 Cameo. A stunning Cameo example of this proof dollar. Only the lightest of hairlines rest on fully reflective and white fields. Liberty is frosty and mark free and one can see velvety shifts of luster on the device. Everything is frosty and bold where it needs to be and this piece is sure to create strong competition amongst bidders. PCGS has graded only 5 in PR64 Cam with 2 PR65 Cam examples and a single PR66 Cam as finest.
Reverse die has the letter N double punched, letter G triple punched. There is a raised die line in the diagonal portion of the first S in STATES (PCGS # 87020) .
