Lot 334

Lincoln Cent. 1916. PCGS graded Proof 65 Red & Brown PQ. Stunning yellow, mint and magenta toning on a crisp and finely granular gem. Shimmering radial luster over all surfaces. With all of the attention given to early and modern business strike Lincoln cents, it is a numismatic curiosity as to why these low mintage and scarce matte proofs seem to sell "under- the- radar". A completely choice example for the grade and PR66 examples are rare. PCGS has graded 32 in PR65RB, 10 in PR66RB and a single 67RB as finest. (PCGS # 3325) .
Estimated Value $1,800 - 2,200.

Realized $5,463
