Indian Head Cent. 1877. NGC graded MS-65 Red & Brown. A deep red-brown obverse and a light brown reverse. The toughest date to acquire in this series and in gem condition, even more so. A short die crack undernearth the date. In 1877, 852,500 pieces were struck which is only a fraction of the mintage figures of other issues of that time frame.
