$2.50 Gold Indian. 1911-D. PCGS graded MS-62 PQ. The key date in the Indian Head quarter eagle series. Demand has outpaced the limited supply of this issue and there are no signs of this trend stopping. Nice original color and softly granular luster still present. A very light hairline scratch from star 1 to just under throat. Mintmark is very bold. While grading this issue can be tough, those who view this coin will be impressed with the choice surfaces and lack of marks. Mintage of only 55,600 (PCGS # 7943) .
