1879 Pattern Goloid Metric Dollar. Silver, reeded edge. Judd-1627. Pollock-1823. PCGS graded Proof 63. A popular type coin from the U.S. pattern series! William Barber's design of Liberty is beautiful and depicts her with full face detail and flowing hair, adorned by a wide ribbon. Struck in silver with reflective fields that are mostly white, except for toning at 11:00-1:00 on the obverse and 6:00 on the reverse. A Rarity-5 issue with PCGS having graded 5 in this grade, 3 in PR64 and 2 in PR65 as finest (PCGS # 62005) .
