1870 Pattern Half Dollar. Silver, reeded edge. Judd-987. Pollock-1116. High Rarity-6. PCGS graded Proof 63. Pleasant golden toning over subdued gray surfaces. Liberty's device is sharp and brilliant. Only 8 examples have been graded in all grades by PCGS. A good type candidate for a "Standard Series" half dollar. PCGS population of 3 in PR65 with a single PR66 as finest (PCGS # 61233) .
