1854 Pattern Cent. Bronze, plain edge. Judd-161. Pollock-187 Rarity-4. PCGS graded Proof 64 Brown. Smooth and glossy medium brown surfaces that possess no scratches, marks or hairlines. Detail is razor sharp and coin appears to be of gem quality. One tiny carbon spot noted on the middle of the neck. The reverse has a blend of tan and medium brown in a sort of brindle color pattern. A nice example of this popular no stars, Liberty Head cent pattern. Both originals and restrikes were produced, this specimen being an original (PCGS # 11663) .
