Morgan Dollar. 1887-O, 7 over 6 VAM-3. PCGS graded MS-64. Smooth satiny surfaces enhanced even more by the presence of soft iridescent toning from 6:00 to 10:00. Light and captivating sky blue hues in the recessed areas of the hair behind Liberty's ear. The reverse displays sunset toning from 8:00 to 2:00. Both obverse and reverse are blessed with copius amounts of original mint frost. The remnants of the 6 are seen with light magnification at the bottom right hand of the serif of the 7 in date. A gorgeous example of this scarce variety that seldom comes up for sale in such a pristine condition. PCGS has graded 64 in this grade with not a single example known finer. (PCGS # 7178) .
