Lot 314

1923-S Lincoln Cent. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. An exceptional strike for the date, with full details on the hair and wheat ears. 75% full red, with just the slightest mellowing of the color to a reddish-brown. Minor lamination flaw in Lincoln's head, perhaps the reason this is not a 65. PCGS has graded only 13 finer in RB (all at the MS-65 level).
Estimated Value $500 - 600.

Realized $1,150
