U. S. Coin Glass: Open Compote on High Pedestle. Central Glass Co., of Wheeling, W. Virginia, c. 1892. The dish with ornate fluted and ribbed decoration, with broad frosted rim. Encircling the bowl are the fronts and reverses of 9 Seated Liberty half dollars, dated 1892. Around the lower stem of the pedestal are the fronts and reverses of 6 Seated Liberty quarters, also dated 1892. The coin images are all frosted. Height: 7"; Diameter: 9-1/2". In exceptional condition, without any obvious chips. Rare.
