Columbian World's Fair Glass: Lot of 2 Pieces. U.S. made, 1892-1893. One a small rectangular container for holding toothpicks. The corners and feet arched, along with four ruby-flashed "coins" depicting Christopher Columbus and "Americus Vespucius," with American and Spanish coat-of-arms reverses. Holder 3" high; Width: 2". Along with this, a kerosene lamp base in molded white opaque glass -- with ornate moldings and floral emblems. The stem of its high foot with 6 coins of the type seen on the toothpick holder, only smaller, and these apparently once-gilded. Lamp very fine, with only three or four hardly noticeable chips on the underside of the foot. Height: 8-1/4". Lot of 2 items.
