Simpson, Jr. of Boston that his note of the 26th was received, 3¾ x 4 in.; Autograph Letter Signed as senator, Dec. 9, 1875, 7 x 4½ in., to Maine Governor-elect Genl. S. Conner, recommending Capt. John W. Atwell, who was "a brave officer in the War…." (3&4) John Nance Garner, V.P. to Franklin D. Roosevelt, Postcard and Envelope Signed ("Jno N. Garner") (5) Hubert H. Humphrey, V.P. to Lyndon B. Johnson, signed cut "City of Minneapolis Office of the Mayor" letterhead, 5½ x 4½ in., affixed to part of envelope with 1949 postmark; Nelson Rockefeller, V.P. to Gerald R. Ford, TLS as governor of New York, Albany, June 14, 1960, 7½ x 7¼ in., granting request for autograph; some tape remnants on verson. Condition ranges from Very Good to Fine. (6 items).
