Fr-2201-D. 1934 $500 Federal Reserve Note. A very scarce note with a miniscule print run of only 39,000 notes. Even so, these can be had for only a small premium over their face value, a situation we expect will change in the near future as collectors realize how tough they really are to find. These are no longer available in circulation and we doubt if many notes were set aside by collectors because of the high denomination. Very Fine. Estimated Value $600 - 700
