Egypt. Ptolemaic Kings. Ptolemy I, 323-283 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.31 g), struck c. 310-305 BC. Good lot. Head of deified Alexander right, wearing elephant's skin headdress. Reverse: Athena Alkidemos right, with thunderbolt; monograms. Dewing 2737; SNG Cop. 18. Faint graffiti on cheek, otherwise lightly toned and pleasing. Also, Ptolemy V, 204-180 BC., AE 22 mm.: Head right, with elephant's skin headdress / Eagle left (SGC 7883). Well centered and attractive. Lot of 2 coins. Both Choice Very Fine.
