Sasanian Persia. Lot of Nine AR Drachms, c. 241-628 AD. Nice starter lot for this series. Drachms of usual type for: Shapur II and III; Varhran IV; 2 for Peroz; Kavad I; Hormizd IV; and 2 for Xusro II. Plus a hemidrachm of Suleiman, Tabaristan, with "lozenge" portrait. All appealing specimens, mostly bright. Lot of 10 coins. Coins range from Very Fine to Superb. Estimated Value $150 - 225
