1901. NGC graded MS-68. The grade of this coin says it all -- MS-68! NGC has graded only one example at this grade level and absolutely none finer. Thus, if you are a collector who seeks the best of the best, then here is an opportunity to buy just that. The same words that we usually use to described coins fall far short of the coin's actual beauty. "Lustrous" -- but far more so than usual. "Satiny" -- not just on the surface, but deep into the golden metal. "Colorful" -- not orangey, or copper-spotted, but with delicious green and pink highlights perfectly applied to the surfaces. "Well-struck" -- how about a near-perfect strike. To make it easier, just multiply the usual adjectives by two or three and you'll get a good mental impression of how this coin looks. Better yet, visit us during lot viewing and enjoy this coin in person! Estimated Value $9,000 - 11,000

Realized $12,650
