Colonial New York Bond. Partly-printed Document dated February 3, 1775, binding Nicholas and Isaac Low, merchants in New York City, to Andrew Breasted, in the amount of twelve hundred pounds, current money of New York. A notation on the verso shows that the money was repaid in 1776 as required. One page folio, with attached docket leaf. A 3¼ x 4 in area of paper loss at bottom right affects nothing; overall toning and a couple of edge splits. Printed on laid paper with a beautiful "Pro Patria" watermark.
Estimated Value $700 - 900.
