Bonaparte, Napoléon (1769-1821) Manuscript Document Signed ("Bonaparte") as General-in-Chief of the Army of Italy, Milan, the 8th of Frimaire in the 9th year of the Republic. 1 page, large folio. Written in French to Citizen Belleville, consul of the Republic at Livornia, informing him that a warrant had been issued regarding a certain company and if it had not been executed within 24 hours, the consul should go to General Sérurier who would take "the necessary repressive measures." The Italian campaign took place in 1796-97. Written on laid, watermarked paper, with a lovely vignette at top center. Some wrinkling, soilng, and ink spotting. Very Good.
