1876 $3 Gold. PCGS graded Proof 58. Well struck and deep golden orange in color. Slightly impaired with some light handling marks and a scratch in the obverse field before the head of Liberty. A very rare and much sought-after date as this coin was struck only in proof with a reported mintage of 45. An affordable and very acceptable example of this important key date issue. Pop 1 with 38 graded higher (PCGS # 804) .
