Gable, Clark & Leigh, Vivian. Clark Gable (1901- 1960) Screen Icon. Most famous for his role as Rhett Butler in the legendary epic, Gone with the Wind (1939)


Vivian Leigh (1913- 1967) Born in India, educated in London, she became an overnight sensation in the comedy The Mask of Virtue (1935). Most famous for her role as Scarlett O'Hara in the epic Gone with the Wind(1939). She married Laurence Olivier in 1940, and appeared opposite him in numerous classical plays, including Romeo and Juliet and Antony and Cleopatra.

Document Signed One check approx. 8 x 3", Hollywood, CA, February 10, 1945. Signed boldly by Gable in black pen. Matted and framed to an overall size of 18 x 14", with a black and white, still photo (unsigned) of Gable & Leigh from Gone with the Wind, and a 'cut signature' of Ms. Leigh (very weak).
