Gem 1927-D Peace Dollar. NGC graded MS-65. Frosty and bright throughout; without toning or bagmarks to deter the examining eye. Scarce in this grade and nearly impossible to find better. Denver did well on this coin, the eagle's feathers are full and Liberty's abundant curls show clearly. The wide open fields show widely scattered marks, and none are deep or problematic. One for the astute numismatist who needs this key date in gem condition.
