Partially Printed Document Signed as President, during Cleveland's first Presidential stint. One page, Folio on vellum, Washington DC, May 12, 1888. Being a military appointment for "…Evan Miles… appoint him Major of the Twenty-fifth Regiment of Infantry…" Complete with blind stamped blue seal and the beautiful vignettes of a spread eagle above and the military armaments below. Countersigned by the Secretary of State.
