British Asia collection, 1854-1961. An excellent lot for the retail dealer with many, many singles and sets above $50. A valuable and extensive collection, mostly mint, hinged in 2 Scott albums, with the main value in late Victorian through the 4 Kings issues. Inclused Aden, Bahrain, Kuwait, Muscat and Qatar over 90% complete; some Bangkok and Batum; Burma nearly complete including Japanese Occupations; extensive Ceylon from 1857 with late Victorian and 4 Kings about 90% complete; G.B. Offices in China complete less 3 stamps; good Hong Kong from 1862 including some excellent Queen Victoria (1901-1961 complete less only 1 stamp); Good India from 1854 including the Gandhi set and a selection of Princely States; excellent Malay area including Brunei, Labuan, North Borneo, Sarawak, Straits Settlements and individual Malay States over 80% complete with many better high values. Occasional small faults on the earliest issues. Generally F.-V.F.
