Lot 2147

$20 Liberty. 1857-S. PCGS graded MS-64. S.S. Central America. Bright and flashy with copious luster in the fields and minimal signs of handling. There is a trace of haze on the reverse. Boldly struck by the dies and we note that the reverse is particularly nice, while the obverse has a few minor scrapes mostly on the central high points. An opportunity if you missed out on the original release of these a few years ago (PCGS # 8922) .
Estimated Value $5,500 - 6,500.
The PCGS holder states "Central America" on the insert.

Realized $6,325
