Theodosius I, 379-395 AD. Gold Solidus (4.41 g), Constantinople, struck c. 379-383 AD. Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: Constantinopolis enthroned facing, head right, holding scepter and globe, foot on prow. Officina A. RIC 45d. Perfectly centered and struck on round flan. Very lustrous. Attractive style. A nice Extremely Fine.
