Augustus, 27 BC-14 AD. "Divus Augustus" AE Dupondius, struck under Nerva, 98 AD. Interesting and scarce. Radiate head of Augustus right; DIVVS AVGVSTVS. Reverse: Rudder, with globe behind; IMP NERVA CAES AVG REST SC. RIC 131 (Nerva); C. 568 (Aug.). Well centered but metal somewhat porous, with a few light smoothing marks on reverse. Very Fine / Fine plus.
