1916-D Buffalo Nickel. PCGS graded MS-64. A near gem from this lovely set of Buffalo Nickels, the surfaces have the usual tiny flecks of color and the devices are well struck. Light haze on the upper right reverse, possibly from an old fingerprint.
Estimated Value $300 - 400.
From the Benson Collection and purchased on October 3, 1944 from Ira S. Reed in a set of nickels from 1913 to 1938 for $350.00.
