1845 N-7 R5 Repunched 84 PCGS graded XF45. An attractive cent but there are some minor contact marks, none significant but too many to ignore. Glossy light chocolate brown with reddish brown tones in protected areas on the reverse. MDS, die state b, with a fine die crack through MER. The circle inside the loops of the 8 and the horizontal line inside the triangle of the 4 are clear. Our grade is net VF30. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 5 finer: 1 in 53, 1 in 58+, 1 in 62, 2 in 64. Estimated Value $300 - UP
