Fine Apollo 11 Artifacts: Flown Kapton Foil Segment in Striking Lucite Presentation, Three Segments Mounted on LOA & First Day Issue Stamps. Fine collection of Apollo 11 artifacts/collectibles. 1.) Entombed in lucite (#26 limited to only 50 made) a triangle shaped paperweight that stands on end with a dime-sized segment of Kapton foil removed from heat shield certified by Ken Havekotte. Also entombed below flown sample is a replica of the Robbins coin carried originally by the Apollo 11 crew in silver plate commemorating the 50th Anniversary. The original packaging of the Robbins coin conveys with paperweight as it came with an Apollo 11 embroidered cloth patch and information. A very handsome desktop commemorative. 2.) Three tiny segments of flown Kapton foil mounted on a beautiful LOA certified authentic by Ken Havekotte with an explanation of the provenance of the foil pieces. 3.) First Day Issue of Man on the Moon Stamp Sept. 9, 1969 postmarked Cape Canaveral and another postmarked July 20, 1969 Cape Canaveral then with stamp for 50th Anniversary Moon Landing and very large postmark at Cape Canaveral.
