Beautifully Carved, Large Hardstone Brush Pot of Lotus and Carp. Large, elaborately carved hardstone brush pot. Beautiful details are evident including the lotus branches, pods, and carp that surround the pot. The open work in the carving impresses especially flanking the large carp on left side. We note only one very tiny chip at base, otherwise the delicate fins, petals, water splashes are all intact without any repairs. Again, an impressive size 7½ x 15 x 8" and weighing about 14 pounds.
