1856 Hand Colored Engraving of "H.M. War Steam Frigate The TERRIBLE of 1847 Tons & 800 Horse power". 19th Century engraving based on a painting by W. Knell and engraved by H. Papprill with great information on the specifics of the ship in the lower white margin. Beautiful hand coloring having exceptional detail, the ocean water expertly executed. Engraving is 24 x 30" and framed to 29 x 36". Frame is in fine condition and worth keeping. However we prefer to ship without the glass. Also to save money in shipping we can remove the engraving entirely and ship rolled or flat. Simply let us know ASAP after auction.
