Anderson, Bill (William Maxwell). "LA County Fair, Pomona, CA". (1941-) Southern California artist who has enjoyed decades of acclaim and popularity for his vibrant watercolors of California life. Whether it be sports, landscapes or popular culture Anderson has always had a colorful eye for the movement and energy of any subject. From 2004, and painted on location, Anderson captures the joy and vibrancy of the LA County Fair in Pomona, CA. The LA County Fair has been in existence since 1922 and been going strong since.
Gorgeous colors captured with the carousel, tents and balloon. Anderson has signed in lower left and on back of heavy textured stock. Unframed, mint condition, 23 x 30". Estimated Value $800 - UP
