Russian Royalty: Tsar Paul I, Tsarina Maria Fedorovna, Tsar Alexander I, and Tsar Nicholas I. Paul I (1754-1801, reigned 1796-1801), son of Catherine the Great; assassinated. Doument signed as Tsar, 1797, authorizing retirement pay to former servants. Maria Fedorovna (2nd wife of Paul I), endorsement on an 1824 petition. Alexander I (1777-1825, reigned 1801-25), son of Paul I. He ruled Russia during the Napoleonic Wars. 1810 LS as Tsar to the Emperor of Austria on the birth of his daughter. Nicholas I (1796-1855, reigned 1825-55), younger brother of Alexander I. 1830 LS to the King of the Two Sicilies. All items fine with Tsar Alexander a bit light. Estimated Value $2,000 - UP
