1817 N-15 R4 PCGS graded AU58. Glossy chocolate brown and light greenish olive. Sharply struck and this cent looks flawless, but a strong glass reveals some faint hairlines that do not break the toning. The only marks visible without a glass are two fine hairlines at star 3. E-MDS. The die crack connecting stars 1-3 is faint. The reverse is rotated 70 degrees CCW relative to the normal head-to-foot die orientation. Our grade is net EF40. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #36592. Pop 3; 6 graded higher at PCGS for the variety. Estimated Value $600 - UP
