Lot 692

1868. PCGS graded MS-64. Nicely toned with classic copper gold shades over frosty devices combined with reflective fields. Only 4,850 struck, and this is one of the finer examples seen today. A handful are finer, but this one has close to gem level quality and a sharp strike with bold visual appeal. A rare issue! Pop 15; 7 finer, 5 in 65, 2 in 66. (PCGS # 7989) Estimated Value $7,500 - 8,000

Realized $8,700
