1841 N-2 R2 EF45. Glossy medium brown with frosty lighter brown covering the protected areas. There is a dull nick or planchet flake on the rim at star 13, a spot of reddish chocolate verdigris above star 9, and a nick-like planchet chip over the T in CENT. M-LDS, die state b. The die defects at the date are gone. Softly struck on the lower edge of the bust and bottom of the curl over star 13 due to debris that clogged the die (most likely lubricating grease).
