Lot 566

1825 N-6 R3. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. Glossy medium steel brown with lots of lighter brown toning on the reverse. Mint frost covers the fields and protected areas and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. Nearly void of marks; a small spot of lighter brown toning over the 2 in the date can help identify this cent. E-MDS. The dies are uncracked and tiny lumps from die rust are present at TE in STATES. A very nice cent, just a bit of friction on the highest points from mint state. Our grade is AU50. The attribution and Widok Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 5 finer: 1 in 63, 4 in 64. (PCGS # 36796) Value $2,000 - UP
Source unrecorded-The Widok Collection.
