1813 S-293 R2. PCGS graded AU-50. Five points sharper but there is a diagonal scratch under star 12 that nearly reaches the lowest curl. Otherwise the surfaces are smooth and attractive and there are only a few trivial contact marks, none notable. Glossy light olive and chocolate brown. E-MDS, Breen state I. There are fine die flowlines from the dentil tips but the repunching on the upper part of the 3 is still sharp. A small, shallow low spot (caused by debris on the die) weakens the right side of the D in UNITED. Our grade is VF35. A nice Classic Head cent.
