Lot 16

1817 N-5 R3 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Glossy steel brown and chocolate with frosty golden tan and light brown faded down from mint color in protected areas. Flowline luster covers the fields and protected areas on both sides. Essentially flawless; a microscopic struck-through line meandering off the left side of star 8 (as struck) may help identify this cent. Looks mint state but there is a hint of friction on the highest points of the devices. MDS. The repunching on the bottom of the N in ONE is still clear. Our grade is AU58. Estimate Value $1,500 - UP
Ex Chris McCawley 9/22/2016-The Westwood Collection.
