Macedonia as a Roman Province. Circa 167-149 BC. Siver Tetradrachm (16.93g). Diademed and draped bust of Artemis, bow and quiver over shoulder, in the center of a Macedonian shield decorated with eight-pointed stars within double cresents, each separated by three pellets. Reverse: Club with monogram and legend above and below; all within oak wreath with thunderbolt to left. NGC graded AU; Strike: 5/5, Surface: 4/5. Virtually as struck, lightly toned.
