1855-D. Medium D. PCGS graded MS-62. A beauty which shimmers with golden bloom mint luster. The surfaces are quite nice for the grade assigned which keeps the eye appeal quite high for this scarce issue. The strike is soft on Liberty's neck and the eagle's just opposite on the reverse, rather typical of this issue. Tied with a handful of others as the finest seen of this elusive, low mintage issue.
