44 Year Old Soviet Food Tube of Pickled Lamb from Apollo-Soyuz Mission, Property of Donald "Deke" Slayton. Apollo Docking Module Pilot, Donald "Deke" Slayton (1924-1993) returned from his Apollo-Soyuz mission with this container of Pickled Lamb, packaged like a large tube of toothpaste. A rare flown item, know the tube is no longer supple, the contents dried out completely and there are four very small punctures given its 44 years in age. Nevertheless an immensely appealing item for every level of collector, still boasting the contents label at neck and bright colors of the Russian flag. Tube measures 7 x 2½ x 2½" and comes with LOA. Estimate Value $600 - UP
