1799/8. 13 Stars on Reverse. B-1, BB-142, Rarity 4. NGC graded MS-63. A frosty white coin with considerable pale gold toning starting to form. Lustrous and impressive for any Draped Bust dollar, with strong definition on Liberty's curls and the eagle as well. The overdate is bold and the strike is sharp. A condition rarity at any grade even approaching mint state, this one is far and away finer than most known today. A desirable condition rarity. Pop 1; 1 finer in 64 for the variety at NGC.
