1818 Capped Bust Half Dollar. 8 over 7, large 8. EF-40. Well struck by the dies and generally well preserved. We note luster around the stars, and moderate hairlines from circulation. A middle die state with the obverse crack from star 11 to the curls, but not the reverse crack through the denomination. The reverse has scattered dark spots, otherwise it has light golden toning.
